ESTsoft announced on the 13th the launch of an automatic dubbing service called 'AI Video Translator,' which replicates the speaker's voice in a video and even generates lip movements to convert it into a multilingual speaking video.
The AI Video Translator is an extended feature of ESTsoft's AI human subscription service PERSO.ai. Anyone who signs up for PERSO.ai can create a one-minute dubbed video for free.
The AI Video Translator preserves the speaker's voice along with subtle nuances and emotional tones, while also considering harmony with background noise. Viewers can focus on the original video without subtitles or voice dubbing, and global content creators can experience an innovative video production environment.
Translation accuracy has also been secured. Supported languages include 29 languages such as Korean, English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Chinese, and Japanese.
Usability is also a strong point. While typical video dubbing work takes at least a day and costs hundreds of thousands of won, the AI Video Translator can generate a lip-synced video matching the dubbing within minutes for around 10,000 won.
Beta tests conducted with tech YouTubers showed that the time required for video production for overseas viewers was reduced by up to 70% when using the AI Video Translator.
