A Self-Portrait of Youth, the Play 'Baraneun Geotgwa Baraji Anneun Geot'
December 5-15 at Daehangno Theater Kum
The Geukjeok Community Creative Team will perform their fifth work, What We Want and What We Do Not Want, from December 5 to 15 at Daehangno Theater Kum.
What We Want and What We Do Not Want is a play that tells the story of the youth of this era who navigate their own paths day by day amid a stifling reality.
The play begins as visitors including the mother and friends come to Heetaek’s one-room apartment, which he lives in with his parents’ money. It then depicts the process in which Heetaek and his friends, leaving behind the recklessness and ideals of their youth, acknowledge and accept the reality where they must silently endure what they do not want.
Actors Kim Damhee, Seo Jinwon, Song Yeri, Yoo Seungil, Lee Janghoon, Seo Shinwoo, Lee Gyutae, Park Shinwoon, Kwak Junghwan, Lee Changhyung, Lee Euihyun, Jeong Hyerang, Kim Jeongguk, and Lee Moonhyun will be divided into two teams and perform alternately.
