Gyeongbuk Development Corporation Obtains 'Excellent Workplace Certification for Reading Management'... "Contributing to the Spread of Reading Culture"
Gyeongbuk Development Corporation obtained the ‘2024 Korea Excellent Workplace Certification for Reading Management’ on the 7th.
The ‘Excellent Workplace Certification for Reading Management’ is a program hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea Management Association Consulting. Since 2014, it has been identifying and certifying organizations that contribute to spreading reading culture by creating a proper reading environment and operating programs within the workplace.
Gyeongbuk Development Corporation is leading efforts to enhance employee capabilities and professionalism through the operation of reading education systems. They provide books selected by employees and executives so they can read what they want, and support active communication among employees by writing book reviews and holding discussions.
Additionally, they conduct events such as transcription of books on integrity and human rights, donate books on integrity to nearby middle and high schools, and have established and opened a reading space (Idea Room) within the office building to promote reading culture in the local community.
