Boryeong Festival Tourism Foundation Promotes Mud Products at China International Import Expo
The Boryeong Festival Tourism Foundation in Chungnam announced on the 11th that it promoted mud products at the China International Import Expo.
The foundation also carried out promotional activities for the 2025-2026 Chungnam Visit Year, including the official presentation of Boryeong City's culture, tourism, festivals, and mud products, appearances on Chinese Wanghong broadcasts, and interviews with Chinese media outlets.
The expo was held from the 5th to the 10th at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, China, with 3,486 companies from 128 countries participating and about 410,000 visitors attending.
The foundation agreed to join forces with the Chungnam Economic Promotion Agency and Chinese buyers to boost the sales of mud products.
Chairman Kim Dongil said, "Since mud products use the finest mud collected from the clean West Sea off the coast of Boryeong, I am confident that we can also win the hearts of Chinese buyers and consumers," adding, "We will do our best to promote and sell mud products."
Meanwhile, Boryeong City officially hosted the Boryeong Marine Mud Expo in 2022 with government approval, attracting 1.35 million visitors with Boryeong Mud as the main theme.
