Goryeong strawberries are grown using eco-friendly farming methods such as natural bee pollination in the clear waters and fertile soil of Gayasan Mountain, earning a reputation as a ‘premium strawberry’ with excellent color and sweetness. Preparations for full-scale shipments are underway from late this month.
County Governor Lee Nam-chul stated, "Although this year was difficult due to abnormal climate conditions, thanks to the sincere efforts of the farmers, we have achieved good results. We will continue to strive to improve the quality and competitiveness of Goryeong premium strawberries to further enhance consumer trust."
