November 4?20

The Dongmyung University Local Content Focused University Project Group is holding the ‘Local Creative with Dongmyung’ exhibition from November 4 to November 20 at the campus (Building 25 and Building 4) to promote the activation of local content in Busan, emphasize the importance of youth entrepreneurship, and share local startup ideas.

Major local brands and local curators (influencers) from across the country are participating, showcasing a total of about 60 prototypes.

The exhibition is organized into three sections: Local Archive Road, Collector’s Room, and New Wave.

In the Local Archive Road, local culture is introduced through 20 local magazines and books exhibiting the charm of the Busan area.

In the Collector’s Room, 20 visualized contents featuring local tour courses and regional restaurants recommended by local curators are displayed.

In the New Wave section, visitors can encounter 10 startup ideas reflecting regional extinction issues and the challenging spirit of local brands.

On the first floor of Building 4, prototypes and visual design works are exhibited, providing an opportunity to explore Busan’s unique lifestyle and startup ideas.

No Seong-yeo, head of the Dongmyung University Local Content Focused University Project Group, said, “This is an occasion to envision the future of Busan local brands formed through regional characteristics and creative challenges, and to provide insights into local entrepreneurship.”

Through this exhibition, Dongmyung University aims to present new possibilities and practical benefits of local startups and lay the foundation for Busan to establish itself as a central city for local entrepreneurship.
