Daegu Catholic University Operates Digital Education and Teacher Retraining Programs
Selected for 'On-site Consulting' and 'Teacher Retraining Support'
Daegu Catholic University announced on the 7th that it has been selected as the operating institution for the 'Visiting School Consulting' and 'Teacher Re-education Support Project.'
With this selection, Daegu Catholic University will operate various support programs to strengthen digital-based education and teacher capabilities.
The 'Visiting School Consulting' aims to reduce the difficulties teachers and schools face during the transition to digital education and provide customized solutions that enable continuous educational innovation regardless of external changes.
It plans to provide education and consulting to enhance the digital competencies of elementary, middle, and high school students and teachers by applying advanced educational solutions such as the introduction of artificial intelligence (AI) digital textbooks, digital literacy education, and smart device technical support in school settings.
Additionally, by collaborating with information and communication technology (IT) experts and public service-linked institutions, it intends to support school transformation through digital-based educational innovation and strengthen its role as a leader in digital-based education innovation.
The 'Teacher Re-education Support Project' is designed to enhance the digital technology-based teaching capabilities of teachers in the Gyeongsang region.
This project plans to provide opportunities for innovative teaching models and practical training to help develop competencies that respond to future educational environments.
