Gyeonggi-do Integrated Transportation Platform 'Ddotta' Wins Grand Prize at 'App Award Korea'

Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation announced on the 7th that ‘Ddokta,’ the Gyeonggi-do integrated transportation platform operated by the corporation, won the grand prize at the 'App Award Korea 2024,' the most prestigious mobile app awards ceremony.

View original image'App Award Korea' selects outstanding mobile apps with excellent technological capabilities. ‘Ddokta’ underwent professional evaluation focusing on the app's reliability and uniqueness through consumer research and industry-academic expert reviews.
In addition to this award, the corporation previously won the ‘Grand Prize’ at the 2023 'App Award Korea' and also received the ‘Grand Prize’ at the 2024 'Mobile Award Korea.' ‘Ddokta’ was also awarded the ‘Excellence Award’ in the 2024 Gyeonggi-do Active Administration Best Practices.
Currently, Ddokbus operates 215 vehicles across 37 areas in 16 cities and counties including Goyang-si, Suwon-si, Yangju-si, and Icheon-si within the province, with plans for gradual expansion.
Shared PMs and shared bicycles are available in 22 cities and counties within the province, with approximately 28,000 units in use. Ddokta has introduced enhanced license verification procedures within the app to provide residents with a safe and convenient PM usage environment.
Additionally, in connection with the ‘Gyeonggi-do Children and Youth Transportation Expense Support’ project, youths residing in Gyeonggi-do can receive an immediate discount of 1,000 KRW per use when using shared bicycles through the Ddokta app.

She added, "We will continue to strive to implement safe and convenient transportation services by linking new concept transportation means such as UAM, parking lots, and car sharing in the future."
