KCSC and Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education Sign MOU for Cooperation in Preventing Digital Sex Crimes
The Korea Communications Standards Commission announced on the 7th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education to strengthen cooperation for the prevention of digital sex crimes and the protection of victims.
Through this MOU, the Commission and the Incheon Office of Education will establish a hotline to ensure illegal deepfake videos are deleted within 24 hours, and will conduct campaigns and educational programs for proper media use.
They will also install and distribute dedicated digital sex crime reporting banners (1377) and banners for the automatic blocking program of harmful sites for children and adolescents (Green i-Net).

Ryu Hee-rim, Chairperson of the Commission, stated, "Through this agreement, we will do our best to delete materials to prevent secondary damage to students and teachers in the Incheon area."
