Timefolio Management Adjusts Portfolio Reflecting Trump Election Prediction
As the S&P500 and Nasdaq100 indices reached all-time highs, the TIMEFOLIO US S&P500 Active ETF and TIMEFOLIO US Nasdaq100 Active ETF are gaining attention.
On the 7th, TIMEFOLIO Asset Management announced that it predicted the election possibility of Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, and adjusted its portfolio in advance.
They actively increased the weights of Tesla (TSLA) and Bitcoin-related stocks such as Coinbase (COIN) and MicroStrategy (MSTR). With the announcement of the US presidential election results, the stock prices of related companies surged, boosting the ETF performance.
Unlike passive ETFs, the TIMEFOLIO US S&P500 and US Nasdaq100 Active ETFs showed differentiated performance through weight adjustments and stock replacement strategies that can quickly respond to market volatility. While the weight of First Solar, a stock related to the Biden administration's green policies, was reduced after October, the weights of Tesla and Bitcoin-related stocks were increased.
They have shown performance exceeding passive ETFs, which are managed identically to the S&P500 and Nasdaq100, by more than 10 percentage points (P) since the beginning of the year.
.
The S&P500 and Nasdaq100 indices have established themselves as major indices for traditional pension investments, with both indices rising about 23% since the beginning of the year. Many pension investors are showing interest. Pension investors seeking relatively higher returns are shifting their attention to active ETFs.
TIMEFOLIO US investment active ETFs are also available for investment in pension accounts and have the advantage of tax deferral until the withdrawal time, attracting individual pension investors.
