The Yangju City Public Health Center was selected as an excellent institution and awarded a prize of 1 million won for its contributions to citizen nutrition management and health promotion, as well as for creating policy conditions and environments by faithfully establishing and implementing the National Nutrition Management Implementation Plan. This included initiatives such as △ promoting experiential nutrition projects to resolve childhood and adolescent obesity △ collaborating with related organizations for identifying targets and efficiently operating nutrition programs △ conducting the campaign "Reduce Sweetness, Sweet Life" to deliver messages for practicing healthy eating habits.
Additionally, the Yangju City Public Health Center achieved the remarkable feat of winning the award for two consecutive years by being recognized for its efforts in the Nutrition Plus Project, which aims to improve nutritional risk factors and foster self-management of dietary habits through tailored nutrition education and support for nutritionally vulnerable groups such as infants and pregnant women. The center was acknowledged for actively identifying targets and making multifaceted efforts to eliminate blind spots in nutrition management.
