Choi Woo-hyung, CEO of K Bank, Joins Relay Campaign for Child Abuse Prevention

K Bank announced on the 6th that CEO Choi Woo-hyung participated in the 'Child Abuse Prevention Relay Campaign' to promote a positive parenting culture.
The Child Abuse Prevention Relay Campaign was launched to raise awareness about child abuse, encouraging respect for children as they are and protecting them from abuse. It has been conducted since May under the supervision of the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Child Rights Protection Agency.
Anyone interested in preventing child abuse can participate in this campaign by taking a photo with the campaign image and posting it on social networking services (SNS). Additionally, participants are asked to nominate two others to join the campaign, helping to spread the culture of child abuse prevention.
CEO Choi Woo-hyung joined the campaign upon the recommendation of Lee Seung-yeol, CEO of Hana Bank. K Bank plans to widely promote CEO Choi’s participation through its official SNS channels.
Furthermore, CEO Choi recommended Yoon Ho-young, CEO of Kakao Bank, and Lee Eun-mi, CEO of Toss Bank, as the next participants in the campaign.
CEO Choi Woo-hyung said, "I am honored to participate in a campaign aimed at creating a positive parenting environment and preventing child abuse. Going forward, I will support children’s dreams and hopes together with our employees so they can grow as leaders of the future generation."
Meanwhile, K Bank has made 'child support' a key focus of its social contribution efforts, actively supporting children’s healthy growth and digital education.

In May of this year, K Bank donated 30 million KRW raised through an employee walking donation campaign to support child-rearing in low-income grandparent-headed households. Last year, it also provided 190 PCs and digital equipment such as AI coding robots to child welfare facilities to support IT education for children.
