Daegu Bullo-dong Home Repair Cooperative 'Bulbongine Repair Shop' Opens
‘Bulbongine Repair Shop,’ one of the key spaces in the urban regeneration project in Bullo-dong, Dong-gu, Daegu, has opened its doors.
The Dong-gu Office of Daegu (Mayor Yoon Seok-jun) held the opening ceremony of ‘Bulbongine Repair Shop’ on the 30th of last month and officially began its operation.
In the Bullo-dong area of Dong-gu, Daegu, a home repair cooperative called 'Bulbongine Suriso' has opened.
View original imageBulbongine Repair Shop serves as a hub for repairing old houses not only in Bullo-dong but also for residents in nearby areas. Construction began in January and was completed after eight months of work. The facility is operated by the ‘Bulbongi House Repair Cooperative,’ a cooperative specializing in house repairs.
Yoon Seok-jun, Mayor of Dong-gu, Daegu, stated, “Bulbongine Repair Shop is a representative hub space of the Bullo-dong urban regeneration project and a model that allows residents to manage aging houses on their own.” He added, “We will support the Bulbongi House Repair Cooperative to fully demonstrate its capabilities for regional development.”
