The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province will use a 'mobile electronic notification system' to send delinquency notices in electronic document form to those who are behind on local taxes and non-tax revenues.
On the 5th, Suwon City announced that it plans to send delinquency notices via the mobile messenger KakaoTalk to about 70,000 delinquent taxpayers by the end of December. Recipients can easily view the notice after verifying their identity on their smartphones.

This system sends notices and guidance documents to the smartphone registered under the recipient's name using certified electronic document intermediaries such as Kakao and KT, instead of paper notices.
Regardless of whether they have applied for electronic notification, taxpayers whose actual residence and registered address do not match can conveniently receive notices on their smartphones.
