NaviPla Supplies Modular Autonomous Driving Solutions to Neuromeka
On the 5th, NaviPhra Co., Ltd., a company specializing in autonomous driving solutions for logistics robots, announced that it has supplied its innovative modular autonomous driving solution, ‘NCB-Block,’ to NeuroMeca Co., Ltd., a company specializing in collaborative robots.
NaviPhra is an autonomous driving solution startup that develops and supplies ‘NaviCore,’ an autonomous driving solution providing high-precision driving functions for unmanned transfer robots and unmanned forklifts used in manufacturing plants and logistics warehouses, as well as ‘NaviBrain,’ a control solution capable of managing multiple robots without deadlock. Recently, it launched a new modular autonomous driving solution called ‘NCB-Block,’ which offers precise driving performance regardless of the robot manufacturer or model.
NCB-Block is characterized by its modular design of four core technologies, allowing flexible application of necessary functions according to customer requirements. The solution supplied to NeuroMeca includes the localization technology NCBL (NaviCore-Brain Localization) and the NCBM (NaviCore-Brain Motion Control) technology, which enables precise motion control without dependency among heterogeneous robots.
In particular, the NCBL technology is designed to enable accurate localization using only low-cost ultrasonic sensors, providing both high precision and cost reduction. The NCBM technology includes precise control functions based on three-wheel steering, enabling accurate movement and manipulation even in complex work environments, and allowing flexible movement in narrow spaces, greatly enhancing the robot’s mobility and work efficiency.
The supplied NCB-Block solution will be installed on NeuroMeca’s autonomous collaborative robots and utilized for ship block welding tasks, supporting efficient operations at large domestic shipbuilding sites.
