Songpa-gu (Mayor Seo Gang-seok) announced that on October 31, it held the "2024 Songpa Youth CEO Forum" at Songpa Academy to discuss and share successful strategies for youth entrepreneurship targeting young CEOs.
With the recent surge in startups among the youth, the district planned the forum on startup success strategies to provide practical support to young entrepreneurs in the region.
At the forum, through expert presentations and open discussions among participants, a platform was created to collectively discuss the management challenges faced by young entrepreneurs and find solutions.
First, awards were presented to three young CEOs who contributed to regional development through startup activation.
Next, startup coaching expert Yoo Seok-young delivered the first presentation on "Successful Startup Know-how." Based on years of coaching experience, he shared management know-how for startup companies and practical investment attraction strategies, receiving enthusiastic responses from attendees.
The second presentation was given by writer Lee Dae-yang on the theme "Dream, Present, and Future," discussing the mindset and importance of creative thinking that young entrepreneurs should have during their challenges. In particular, he presented ways to cope with difficulties encountered in the startup process and methods to set long-term goals.
Finally, a full discussion session was held with the presenters and 40 young CEOs participating. By sharing success secrets and experiences in management, young entrepreneurs gained new information, formed networks, and created opportunities for mutual cooperation and development.
Additionally, the district is actively supporting youth through initiatives such as the 'Munjeong Biz Valley Job Hub Center,' 'Songpa ICT Youth Startup Support Center,' and 'Songpa Youth Startup Challenge Project' for employment and entrepreneurship support; the 'Youth Artist Center' supporting young artists' activities; and operating the 'Songpa Youth Network,' where youth directly discover and propose agendas.
