This event was organized under the theme "The City of Jeong Yak-yong, Growing Together with Childcare Staff, Happy Children in Namyangju City" to enhance the capabilities and morale of childcare staff and to create a festival space where families with young children can enjoy together.
The day’s program consisted of a commemorative ceremony held in the indoor gymnasium, a healing concert for childcare staff, and a traditional games event in the outdoor parking lot. During the ceremony, awards were given for the childcare photo exhibition and commendations were presented to exemplary childcare staff. The healing concert served as a venue for harmony and communication among childcare workers.
In the outdoor parking lot, a traditional games event was held featuring various traditional play experience booths such as Biseokchigi (stone throwing game), Ttakjichigi (Korean card flipping game), and Bamboo Juktongnori (bamboo tube play), allowing infants, toddlers, and their families to enjoy together.
Inside the venue, the Namyangju City Daycare Association hosted an exhibition of award-winning photos from the photo contest and screened support videos for childcare staff, highlighting the warm childcare environment. Along with the photo exhibition awards, commendations for exemplary childcare staff were given to boost morale and encourage the workers.
Notably, this festival was organized in a format that involved not only daycare center directors but also childcare staff and families with young children, creating a space where childcare workers, infants, toddlers, and their families could communicate and enjoy together.
