Yoo said, "I am well aware that the policy capabilities of the Yeouido Institute have long been the subject of criticism or concern by many," adding, "Since we clearly have goals about what we need to do, we plan to publicly recruit the necessary number of personnel soon." He also added, "It is difficult to overcome the fundamental limitation of being an affiliated institute of the People Power Party, so we will focus on in-depth research on the essence of the conservative People Power Party and the direction it should take, as well as creating vision and philosophy."
The centers under the Yeouido Institute will also be subdivided. Yoo stated, "We created the Future Talent Center because we thought a center responsible for youth-related matters and educational programs was necessary, and the person in charge will be announced later," emphasizing, "We are also preparing a center tentatively named the Labor and Growth Center, which will cover not only labor policies but also the overall social safety net." The heads of the newly established centers will be mainly composed of first-term lawmakers.
