According to the police and attendees, at around 10:25 a.m. on the 3rd, a post claiming 'an explosive device has been planted' was reported at a game event held at Kintex Exhibition Center 2. The police special forces and military bomb disposal unit were dispatched to search inside and outside the venue, but no explosives were found.
Attendees experienced inconvenience as the event organizers conducted bag checks, causing delays in entry.
Earlier, at around 8:40 p.m. on the 1st, a similar post was made, causing about 200 attendees who were lining up early the next day to evacuate.
