Geumcheon-gu Enhances KakaoTalk Welfare Consultation Channel 'Geumcheon Bokji Toktok' Service
Any Geumcheon-gu Resident Can Conveniently Access Welfare Consultation via KakaoTalk
Improved Convenience with Automatic Chat Termination Prevention and Phone Consultation Transfer
Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced that it is providing more convenient welfare consultations to residents through the KakaoTalk channel ‘Geumcheon Bokji Toktok,’ which has enhanced its non-face-to-face welfare consultation services.
Anyone can use ‘Geumcheon Bokji Toktok’ by adding the channel after typing ‘Geumcheon Bokji Toktok’ in the KakaoTalk search bar. All Geumcheon-gu residents can conveniently receive welfare consultations via KakaoTalk and regularly receive welfare information and district news.
Additionally, four social welfare officers, not artificial intelligence, provide customized welfare consultations, allowing for more accurate and detailed guidance.
In particular, the ‘Geumcheon Bokji Toktok’ channel has improved user convenience by adding new services. Even if the conversation is temporarily interrupted due to other matters while consulting via KakaoTalk, the chat does not automatically end, ensuring consultation continuity so that the conversation can be resumed anytime if needed.
Also, if requested by the client during the consultation, it can be immediately switched to a phone consultation. A separate channel has been established for residents in welfare blind spots to request help or for other residents to report, thereby strengthening efforts to discover welfare blind spots.
Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, stated, “We will strengthen non-face-to-face consultation services for the convenience of residents and work more actively to discover welfare blind spots.”
