Special Lecture at Gwangjin-gu Office Auditorium on November 14th for 'World Diabetes Day'
Dr. Oh Han-jin, National Primary Care Physician, Provides Health Management Tips for Chronic Disease Prevention
Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) will hold the “Health Communication Festival,” sharing various health information, on November 14 at the Gwangjin-gu Office auditorium.
This special lecture is organized to mark “World Diabetes Day” on November 14. It will be divided into two parts, providing valuable information about health. Following an expert lecture on chronic disease prevention, there will be hands-on activities to assess health status.
The lecturer invited is Dr. Oh Han-jin, known as the “National Primary Care Physician.” Drawing on his many years of experience as a family medicine professor, he will share effective health management tips. Attendees will also learn vivid methods to strengthen immunity and improve lifestyle habits. The session will last 100 minutes from 10 a.m., targeting 250 pre-registered participants.
The second part will be organized around four themes: “Smart Measurement,” “Health,” “Stress Relief,” and “Commemorative Photo Shooting.” Participants can undergo tests for brain stress, blood pressure, blood sugar, osteoporosis, physical function, and body fat. Based on the measurement results, personalized consultations will be provided, and booths for dementia, smoking cessation, and oral health will also be available.
Additionally, there will be experiences such as mole whacking, punch games, and worry doll making. Using health props, participants can also take “Insaeng Ne Cut” (four-cut photo booth) pictures. All booths will operate from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and are open for participation without separate registration. Applications for the first part lecture can be made through the Gwangjin-gu Office website or the information pattern (QR code).
