The Exchange Delays Market Opening by One Hour to 10 AM on College Entrance Exam Day
The Korea Exchange announced on the 31st that it will delay the opening of the regular securities market by one hour on the College Scholastic Ability Test day, next month on the 14th.
According to the Exchange, the trading hours for the regular market and pre-market sessions in the KOSPI market, KOSDAQ market, and KONEX market will be postponed by one hour. Accordingly, the regular market trading hours, which were originally from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, will be changed to 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The post-market session will start at 4:40 PM and end at 6:00 PM.
For the derivatives market, trading hours for stock and interest rate products will be delayed by one hour for both opening and closing times, while currency products and gold futures will have only their opening times delayed by one hour. Pork futures trading hours will remain unchanged. Due to the delay in the regular market, the night session opening time will also be delayed by one hour, but the closing time will remain unchanged.

In the general commodities market, gold trading will start one hour later at 10:00 AM and end at 3:30 PM, while trading hours for the oil market and emission rights market will remain unchanged.
