KB Kookmin Bank Extends Conditional Jeonse Loan Restrictions... Continues Household Debt Management Policy
KB Kookmin Bank decided on the 31st to continue restricting conditional jeonse deposit loans. This measure is interpreted as an effort to ensure stable household debt management and to prevent house price increases through gap investments.
Previously, KB Kookmin Bank had been operating the "Conditional Jeonse Deposit Loan Restriction Based on Landlord Ownership Transfer" since September 3rd. This measure was initially planned to be temporary until the end of October, but it appears that the decision to maintain it was influenced by the judgment that it is still too early to ease restrictions from the perspective of household debt management.
The timing for lifting the restriction is undecided.
