Mapo-gu Hosts 'Youth Digital Crime Prevention Special Lecture' Inviting Professor Kwon Ilyong
Mapo-gu (Mayor Park Kang-su) held a special lecture on preventing digital crimes among youth for over 200 parents on the morning of October 30 at the Mapo-gu Lifelong Learning Center.
For this special lecture, Mapo-gu invited Professor Kwon Il-yong, Korea's first criminal psychological analyst.
On the day, Professor Kwon Il-yong highlighted the seriousness of digital crimes targeting youth, such as deepfakes, gambling, and personal information leaks, and explained prevention methods.
Before the lecture, Park Kang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, said, "We prepared this special lecture by Professor Kwon Il-yong, a living witness in the field of criminal psychological analysis, to safely protect our youth from digital crimes.
