Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, Meets with Representatives of Dance-Allowed Establishments to Emphasize Safety Management
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, attended the '2024 Second Half Dance-Allowed Establishments Representatives Meeting' held at 4 p.m. on the 29th in the Mapo District Office 12th floor auditorium.
The meeting began with the Mapo Club Association presenting a plaque of appreciation to Mayor Park, followed by the mayor's greeting, a dialogue with the representatives, and a commemorative photo session.
Following the meeting, the Mapo Fire Station conducted fire safety management training for the business owners, emphasizing the importance of preparedness for emergencies and thorough safety management to raise awareness about safety.
Finally, the district office provided guidance regarding dance-allowed establishments and concluded the meeting by collecting suggestions and opinions from the business owners.
In particular, additional safety education was conducted ahead of Halloween Day. The district emphasized safety guidelines to be observed during the Halloween period, advising the dispersal of waiting areas to prevent obstruction of pedestrian traffic by those waiting to enter clubs, and provided guidance on managing crowd density to prevent excessive indoor occupancy.

With up to 100,000 visitors expected daily during Halloween and the year-end season, safety is the top priority.
