Over 30 Years of Correction Committee Service, Contributing to Social Reintegration Through Enhancing Inmates' Mental Health
Seonggak Monk, a distinguished professor at Dong-Eui University and the head monk of Mangun Temple in Namhae, received a Presidential Citation at the 79th Correction Day ceremony held by the Ministry of Justice on October 28 at the Gwacheon Citizens' Hall.

He was recognized for his contributions to supporting inmates by holding monthly Buddhist services, counseling inmates on their difficulties, promoting mental cultivation, and aiding their smooth reintegration into society, which earned him the Presidential Citation on this day.
