Hoseo University Department of Architecture Wins President of Architects Association Award at Seocho Architecture Culture Festival
The Department of Architecture at Hoseo University announced on the 29th that it received the President of the Korean Institute of Architects Award and other honors at the Seocho Architecture Culture Festival.
The Seocho-gu Architects Association has been holding the Seocho Architecture Culture Festival for ten years to highlight the role of architects in shaping the identity of cities and contributing to social communication through architecture.
At the festival, students Kim Gyuri and Cho Sua received the President of the Korean Institute of Architects Award, students Han Jiyeong and Koo Suyeon received the President of the Seoul Architects Association Award, and student Lee Doye received the President of the Seocho-gu Architects Association Award.
Professor Kang Jieun of the Department of Architecture said, "The Seocho-gu Architects Association has maintained ongoing exchanges with Hoseo University through an MOU, including on-site training, meetings with architects, and exhibitions at the Seocho Culture Festival," adding, "I hope more students will take on new challenges."
