KT&G announced on the 29th that it was selected as an Excellent Company for Youth Employment-Friendly Social Contribution at the Youth Leap Membership Conference hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Employers Federation.

The Youth Leap Membership is a public-private cooperation project that discovers companies with outstanding youth employment support activities and supports program operation and promotion. KT&G joined the membership in November 2021 to strengthen its competitiveness in youth support.
Since 2017, KT&G has been operating the "Sangsang Startup Camp" to nurture social innovation entrepreneurs who aim to solve social problems through business. Through this, it has produced 169 startup teams to date and achieved cumulative sales of 44.2 billion KRW. The 8th Sangsang Startup Camp held this year attracted a total investment of 2.7 billion KRW.
