At a rally held in Novi, southeastern Michigan, former President Trump stated, "The people leading the Democratic Party today are evil, smart, and radical leftists, and they are communists," adding, "They are the ones harming this country with open border policies, record inflation, and a $93 trillion green scam."
Former President Trump declared, "Leaving behind the long years of building other countries, establishing borders, and protecting foreign lands, we will build our own nation, take care of our people, defend our borders, protect our citizens, and permanently make illegal immigration illegal."
Trump criticized, "People do not like gender reassignment surgeries or men competing in women's sports," and said, "Kamala wants to provide free gender reassignment surgeries to prisoners and incarcerated illegal immigrants, and she wants to secretly change children's genders in schools without parental consent or knowledge."
◆Michelle Obama 'Provides Support'... Targeting Female Voters
Vice President Harris campaigned jointly with Michelle Obama, wife of President Barack Obama. At a rally held in Kalamazoo, Michigan, a battleground state, she said, "Our fight is a fight for the future and a fight for the fundamental freedom of women to make decisions about their own bodies," emphasizing the abortion rights issue.
Vice President Harris mentioned, "Donald Trump appointed three federal Supreme Court justices who intended to overturn the Roe v. Wade decision (which recognized women's abortion rights at the federal level)," referring to the 2022 overturning of Roe v. Wade by the federal Supreme Court, which had shifted to a 6-3 conservative majority during Trump's administration.
Michelle Obama said, "I want to do everything in my power to let this beloved country know that if we get this election wrong, we have too much to lose."
She added, "Voting for him (Trump) is casting a vote against our own health and values," and urged, "As you vote, ask yourselves which side of history you want to be on."
