Hanul Unit 5 Completes 14th Planned Preventive Maintenance, Reaches 100% Output
KHNP Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters (Head: Lee Seyong) announced, "Hanul Unit 5 (Pressurized Water Reactor, 1,000 MW class), which entered planned preventive maintenance on July 19, resumed power generation on October 24 and reached 100% output at 2:30 AM on the 27th."
During the planned preventive maintenance period, Hanul Unit 5 replaced fuel, inspected safety-related equipment systems, and completed the statutory inspection required by the Nuclear Safety Act.
