<기사제목>National Police Agency Signs Letter of Intent for Cooperation with UN Office on Drugs and Crime
On the 28th, the National Police Agency announced that it signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) to strengthen international cooperation on crimes such as drug offenses, cybercrime, human rights violations, human trafficking, and terrorism.
The areas of cooperation include ▲ dispatching and recruiting police experts to UNODC for responding to drug crimes ▲ collaboration for responding to drug crimes and identifying and investigating narcotics and precursor substances ▲ sharing cybercrime cases and providing technical support ▲ human rights police activities ▲ strengthening responses to human trafficking and migrant smuggling ▲ counter-terrorism efforts.
Both organizations exchanged views on related cooperation measures aimed at developing, supporting, and enhancing joint efforts to reduce the smuggling of narcotics and precursor substances.
