Mobile Patrol Team Supports Safety Management in Crowded Areas During Halloween Period
The National Police Agency announced on the 27th that during the Halloween period, mobile patrol units were deployed to major crowd-concentrated locations across city and provincial police agencies nationwide.
The mobile patrol units conduct planned and systematic patrol activities by intensively and flexibly deploying personnel according to the security demand by time and place, based on data such as 112 emergency calls and crime occurrence status.
In particular, the mobile patrol units are organized under each city and provincial police agency nationwide, contributing to eliminating security blind spots that may occur between police stations and local police offices, based on their wide-area coverage and mobility.

The head of the Crime Prevention Policy Division at the National Police Agency stated, “The mobile patrol units are actively deployed to densely crowded places where crime and safety accidents are a concern, working hard to maintain public security. Moving forward, during the year-end and New Year period when security demands are expected to surge, we will continue to fulfill our role as mobile patrol units that proactively approach places where citizens need help first, protecting safe daily lives from crime and accidents.”
