The Gwangju City Council of Gyeonggi Province (Chairman Heo Kyung-haeng) announced on the 25th that it held a meeting with the Special Measures Area Water Quality Conservation Policy Council in the chairman's office on the 23rd.
The Special Measures Area Water Quality Conservation Policy Council is a legal consultative body established for the purpose of water quality conservation and improvement of residents' living conditions in seven cities and counties (Gwangju, Yongin, Namyangju, Icheon, Yangpyeong, Yeoju, Gapyeong) designated as Paldang Lake water source protection areas. At the meeting, two members including representative Kang Cheon-sim and all members of the Gwangju City Council attended.
The meeting shared current issues and discussed improvement plans under the agenda of "Response Measures Related to the Operation of the Han River Basin Management Fund."
