Nurturing Professionals Integrating Korean Medicine and Data Science
The National Institute for Korean Medicine Development will hold the “2024 Korean Medicine Data Analysis Practical Workshop (Second Session)” on November 2, 2024, at Soldesk in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
This workshop is open to anyone interested in Korean medicine, big data, and artificial intelligence who also has a basic knowledge of Python programming. Aimed at nurturing professionals who can integrate Korean medicine and data science, the workshop consists of two sessions.
The first session will cover an overview of artificial intelligence-based data analysis and basic Python concepts. The second session will provide hands-on training in experimental data analysis using artificial intelligence, focusing in depth on classification and prediction techniques.
During the in-person training, teaching assistants will be present to support individual practice, and all necessary equipment for data analysis, including PCs, will be provided at the venue.
Participants who complete the program will receive a certificate of completion. Those attending online will be sent a Zoom link and course materials in advance via email.
Registration has been open since October 23, and is limited to a total of 30 participants (15 in-person, 15 online) on a first-come, first-served basis.
Shin Jesu, Acting President of the National Institute for Korean Medicine Development, stated, “Through ongoing workshops and seminars, we aim to enhance data analysis capabilities and support various research opportunities that combine Korean medicine and data science in the future.”
