Guri-si Holds 2024 Capacity Building Training for Private Rental Housing Operators
Expecting Stable National Housing Life through Strengthening Competencies of Local Rental Business Operators
Guri City held the "2024 Guri City Private Rental Housing Business Operator Capacity Building Training" on the 23rd at the main auditorium on the first floor of Guri City Hall.
The city of Guri, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun) announced on the 24th that it held the "2024 Guri City Private Rental Housing Business Operator Capacity Building Training" on the 23rd at the first-floor auditorium of Guri City Hall.
Rental business operators registered under the "Special Act on Private Rental Housing" must comply with various obligations such as reporting lease contracts, restrictions on rent increases, and subscribing to rental deposit guarantees. However, failure to fully understand these obligations may result in fines of up to 30 million KRW.
Accordingly, the city planned this training to assist local rental business operators who face difficulties in fulfilling their obligations due to frequent legal amendments, ensuring that both landlords and tenants can have their rights protected.
The training was conducted in two parts: ▲ Part 1 "Private Rental Housing Business Operator System and Public Obligations" ▲ Part 2 "Rental Business Operators and Tax Benefits."
The first part was led by an official from the Guri City Architecture Division, who provided guidance on the private rental housing system and the various mandatory obligations that rental business operators must fulfill. The second part featured a professional tax accountant delivering a lecture focused on tax benefits for rental business operators, particularly regarding capital gains tax.
