View original imageOn the 24th, Judge Yoo Dong-gyun of the Seoul Central District Court Criminal Division 24 sentenced Oh, who was additionally indicted for violating the Narcotics Control Act (psychotropic substances), to 4 months in prison with a 2-year suspension.
Judge Yoo stated, "Drug crimes are not easily detected and have significant harm to society due to their hallucinogenic and addictive nature," but also noted, "The defendant cooperated with the investigation and admitted to the crime, and the amount of methamphetamine possessed was not large, which were considered in sentencing."
Oh was indicted in May this year for allegedly receiving about 0.2g of methamphetamine from an acquaintance, Lee, in November last year. During the trial, he admitted all charges, saying, "I apologize for causing trouble." Earlier, at the sentencing hearing on the 10th, the prosecution requested a 4-month prison sentence.
