Seoul Philharmonic Teams Up with Apple... "Mahler Symphony No. 1, Vividly Presented with Spatial Audio"
Showcase at Apple Myeongdong on the 23rd
Apple held a showcase on the 23rd at Apple Myeongdong in Seoul to celebrate the exclusive album release of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra (Seoul Philharmonic) on Apple Music Classical.
The Seoul Philharmonic recently released the audio recording of Mahler's Symphony No. 1 "Titan," conducted by Music Director Jaap van Zweden, through Apple Music Classical.
The event was attended by conductor Jaap van Zweden, Wayne Lin, the deputy concertmaster of the Seoul Philharmonic, and Choi Jin, the tone meister and recording producer who oversaw the album recording. They shared the journey and reflections behind the creation of the album with the customers present at the venue.
Conductor Jaap van Zweden said, "Through the technology of spatial audio, listeners will be able to feel the vividness of standing right at the center of the orchestra as the conductor and listening to the music."
