Goyang City Signs Win-Win Business Agreement with 5 Construction Companies to Revitalize Local Economy
Local Construction Companies Unite on Labor, Equipment, and Material Usage

Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 22nd that on the 21st, it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with construction companies Jeil Construction Co., Ltd., Ilsin Geonyeong Co., Ltd., Bando Construction Co., Ltd., DL E&C Co., Ltd., and Kumho Construction Co., Ltd., which are responsible for the 'Goyang Janghang District' and 'Pungdong 2 District,' to contribute to revitalizing the local construction industry and economy and creating local jobs.
Through this MOU, ▲ the city will provide information on specialized construction contractors, construction workers, construction machinery, and construction materials, and ▲ the construction companies promised to encourage the participation of specialized construction contractors and construction workers within Goyang Special City by subcontracting 30% or more of the construction costs jointly or in divided subcontracting methods, and to make efforts to use construction machinery and materials from the local area.
A representative from the construction companies said, "We are grateful to Goyang Special City for providing an opportunity to coexist and develop together with the local industry through this meaningful agreement at a time when the local industrial economy is facing difficulties."
Mayor Lee Dong-hwan of Goyang Special City said, "Despite the difficult economic conditions, we appreciate your participation in important projects in our city such as the Goyang Janghang District and Pungdong 2 District and your efforts for the development of the local economy," and added, "We ask for your active cooperation so that many excellent local companies can participate in construction projects, coexist with the local community, and achieve good results."
