[Weather] Cloudy and Rain Nationwide... Lowest Temperature 12°C "Beware of Coastal Gusts"
On Tuesday the 22nd, it will be cloudy and rainy nationwide.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 21st, rain will begin in the Chungcheong region and southern Gangwon area from the night of the same day, with rain expected in the Seoul metropolitan area and other parts of Gangwon Province as well.
From the 22nd, it will be cloudy and rainy across the country. Especially, very heavy and intense rain is forecast mainly for the southern coast and Jeju Island, so caution is required.
The rainfall will continue in most regions nationwide until the early morning of the 23rd. In Gangwon Province, North Chungcheong, eastern North Jeolla, and the Gyeongsang region, rain may persist until the morning.
Expected precipitation amounts (from the 21st to the 23rd) are 10?50 mm for the Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi metropolitan area, 20?60 mm for Gangwon Province and North Chungcheong, 10?50 mm for Daejeon, Sejong, and South Chungcheong, and 30?80 mm for eastern South Jeolla, Busan, Ulsan, South Gyeongsang, Daegu, North Gyeongsang, and Jeju Island.
The morning low temperature on the 22nd is forecast to be between 12 and 20 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high between 16 and 26 degrees Celsius. On the 23rd, as cold air moves southward, daytime temperatures are expected to drop.
Fine dust levels will be 'good' nationwide due to smooth atmospheric dispersion and the influence of rain.
From night, winds on the west coast will blow very strongly at speeds exceeding 70 km/h. Most marine areas may experience gusts along with thunder and lightning, so caution is advised to prevent marine safety accidents.
