The contest was held to discover unique initiatives of local governments, improve the way cadastral civil complaints are handled, and seek directions for the development of cadastral administration.
The contest featured three award categories: collaboration, proactive administration, and unique initiatives. The city was selected as an excellent institution in the proactive administration category for its “On-site Civil Complaint Consultation Program.”
The On-site Civil Complaint Consultation Program actively supports smooth business operations for companies by listening to their difficulties regarding land development projects and cadastral confirmation surveys, and by thoroughly reviewing and reflecting their opinions.
As part of the program, the city formed a public-private joint on-site response team to provide customized land administration services to meet the needs of users, earning positive evaluations for its distinctive and differentiated approach.
Mayor Lee Wan-seop stated, “We will continue to discover best practices and carry out proactive administration to resolve citizen inconveniences,” adding, “We will strive to realize 5S 5P administration and provide customized land administration services for citizens in the future.”
