Busan Gijang-gun held the 2024 Gijang-gun Youth Festival ‘Dalbam Dalcho’ over two days from the 19th to the 20th at Jeonggwan Central Park.
The Youth Festival ‘Dalbam Dalcho’ is a representative local youth cultural event hosted by Gijang-gun and promoted by the Youth Participation Committee and the Steering Committee.
From the theme selection and planning stages to the operation of performances, experience booths, and volunteer activities, the entire event was carried out with proactive participation from Gijang-gun youth organizations and local youth.
This event featured various stage performances and experience booths fitting the theme “On a night when the moon rises, the Moon Rabbit invites you,” creating a festival atmosphere where attendees could fully enjoy the autumn night ambiance.
Despite the rainy and gloomy weather that day, 13 local youth clubs delivered fantastic performances including rap and dance, along with congratulatory performances by Wonstein and Cyburger, filling the venue with the cheers and passion of the youth.
In particular, programs such as ▲Making Moon Rabbit Moru Dolls ▲Taking Photos at Dalbam Dalcho ▲Face Painting ▲Traditional Cultural Experiences (six types of traditional culture and play experiences) ▲UV Resin Art ▲Economic Play Experience ▲Mime were offered, allowing not only youth but all generations to participate and enjoy, receiving high praise from visitors to the event.

Jeong Jong-bok, the county governor, said, “I thank the local youth who voluntarily participated over the past three months to realize a festival by youth, for youth, and of youth, as well as many officials from youth-related organizations,” adding, “I hope that the Gijang-gun Youth Festival will continue to be at the center of youth-led play and leisure culture.”
