Yangsan City Hosts the 5th Social Economy Festival 'Hi, Social Economy'
From 11 AM on the 26th at Hwangsan Park Unique Plaza
Yangsan City in Gyeongnam will hold the 5th Social Economy Festival ‘Hi, Social Economy’ at the Hwangsan Park Unique Square from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the 26th.
This event was planned to strengthen cooperation among social economy enterprises, provide a venue for promotion and market expansion, and offer citizens opportunities for value-based consumption. The venue will feature a commemorative ceremony, promotional and sales booths for social economy enterprises, free experience booths, prize giveaways through events, and jazz and indie band congratulatory performances.
A total of 20 booths will be operated with participation from local social economy enterprises and other businesses, offering a variety of activities for all ages such as ▲Making Kideuk Kideuk keyboard magnets ▲Creating heartfelt corsages ▲Endangered flying squirrel conservation project ▲Eco-friendly fabric spray ▲Making autumn-scented candles ▲Creating clay figures resembling one’s heart. Additionally, this year’s event will attract attention with a ‘Citizen Flea Market’ where citizens can directly participate.
‘Social economy enterprises’ are organizations that prioritize both economic profit and social value, leveraging the advantages of capitalism while focusing on realizing values such as people, distribution, environmental protection, and social contribution activities. These include social enterprises, village enterprises, cooperatives, and self-support enterprises.
