Byun Sang-gi, Administrative Management Officer of Gyeonggi Province, said, “The Gyeonggi Peace Plaza Book Cafe operates as a space where knowledge and arts culture coexist in northern Gyeonggi. This special exhibition is an occasion to share and commemorate the significance of the Nobel Prize in Literature, and we will strive to enable all residents to participate in the culture of reading.”
Meanwhile, the books displayed in the special exhibition are restricted from being borrowed during the exhibition period and can only be read within the Plaza Book Cafe. The province plans to add more Han Kang-related works considering residents’ demand and publishing circumstances.
