The training, attended by about 100 council affairs officers from education support offices and affiliated institutions, was planned to enhance the officers' understanding of the functions and roles of local councils and to strengthen communication and cooperation.
The training focused on ▲Understanding the Local Autonomy Act and local councils ▲The organization and operation status of the 11th Gyeonggi Provincial Council's second half term ▲Work procedures for preparing for administrative affairs audits.
Kim Cheon-hee, head of the Council Cooperation Division at the Provincial Office of Education, said, "I hope this training served as an opportunity to further strengthen communication and cooperation with local councils," adding, "We will continue to do our best to actively support council affairs that contribute to the development of the education field and to communicate smoothly."
