‘Lifelong Learning City for the Disabled’ Promotion Booth Also Operated
Busan Gijang-gun will hold the "2024 Gijang-gun Lifelong Learning Expo" for three days from the 18th to the 20th at Junggwan-eup Central Park.
This expo is organized by Busan Digital University and Carrot Global, and will be held in conjunction with the "10th Junggwan Ecological Stream Learning Culture Festival."
Lifelong learning students will share their skills and passion honed through their studies with the residents, and visitors to the event will be offered a variety of attractions and enjoyable experiences through diverse lifelong learning activities.
During the event, residents will have the opportunity to directly experience lifelong learning courses at various booths, including ▲ an exhibition of lifelong learning outcomes by students such as folk painting and pen drawing ▲ world traditional costume experience & English crossword puzzles ▲ VR virtual experience that transcends the boundaries of reality ▲ handmade paper experience & calligraphy ▲ delicious hand-drip coffee extraction experience, among others.
Especially on the 20th, there will be a session titled "Lifelong Learning & Junggwan-eup Resident Autonomy Harmony Festival," where students of the Gijang-gun Citizen University will present and share their learning achievements.
Additionally, to promote lifelong learning for people with disabilities, a "Lifelong Learning City for the Disabled" promotional booth will be operated at this expo. Through this, lifelong learning for people with disabilities will be introduced, and a special experience event supporting Gijang-gun as a place where both disabled and non-disabled people can learn comfortably will be prepared.
