Shinsegae Live Shopping announced on the 17th that it will revamp its membership system and introduce a 'Double Membership' starting next month.
The Double Membership allows customers to use both the newly introduced 'discount vouchers' and the existing 'coupon packs' provided according to membership tiers simultaneously. The discount vouchers are monetary vouchers provided by tier that can be used to deduct 5% of the payment amount. Up to 200,000 KRW is provided depending on the tier, and they can be used in conjunction with separately issued mobile coupons.
The coupon packs have increased the perceived discount amount by lowering the criteria for tier determination. The tier selection period has been reduced from the previous 6 months to 3 months, and a basic tier is granted with just one purchase regardless of the amount, which entitles customers to receive coupon packs. The membership benefits increase the more customers purchase, and customers in the newly created 'VVIP' tier can receive up to 260,000 KRW in discounts every month.
