Sales 2.15% Donated to Leukemia Patients... Nongshim Releases Baeksansu Limited Edition

Nongshim announced on the 17th that it has launched a limited edition Baeksansu, donating 2.15% of sales to children with leukemia and pediatric cancer.

This product will be sold until the end of this year, and a portion of the sales will be donated in line with Pediatric Cancer Day on February 15 next year. Nongshim also donated 100 million won for children with cancer on this year’s World Pediatric Cancer Day.
The limited edition Baeksansu features 15 artworks that won awards in the 4th World Pediatric Cancer Day Drawing Contest held by Nongshim last February. A Nongshim official said, "The limited edition Baeksansu will give hope to the children and serve as an opportunity to gather more social attention. We will continue various activities that can bring hope to the children."

Meanwhile, since 2018, Nongshim has been supporting Baeksansu for children with leukemia and pediatric cancer whose immune systems are weakened, so they can drink water safely without financial burden. Currently, about 340 patient families receive three boxes of 500ml Baeksansu every month. Nongshim also runs programs such as the 'Simsim Kit,' which sends gifts on the children’s bone marrow transplant anniversaries, the social awareness campaign 'Simsim Trekking' where people walk to support the children, and group blood donations by employees.
