Hanssem Achieves 'Excellent' Rating for 5 Consecutive Years in Win-Win Growth Index Evaluation
Hanssem announced on the 17th that it has been recognized for its efforts to coexist with its partners and has achieved the 'Excellent' grade for five consecutive years for the first time in the furniture industry in the '2023 Win-Win Growth Index Evaluation.'
The Win-Win Growth Index is an indicator introduced to spread a culture of mutual cooperation between large corporations and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Every year, the performance evaluation by the Win-Win Growth Committee and the fair trade agreement implementation evaluation by the Fair Trade Commission are combined at the same ratio and announced in five grades (Highest, Excellent, Good, Average, Poor).
Hanssem also received the highest grade for two consecutive years in the fair trade agreement implementation evaluation, a sub-category of the Win-Win Growth Index. As a result of this evaluation, Hanssem was exempted from the Fair Trade Commission’s on-site investigation for two years, exempted from the regular status survey of entrusted transactions by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and granted additional points in the Public Procurement Service’s Pre-Qualification (PQ) for public bidding.
Hanssem was recognized for establishing a 'Win-Win Fund,' a low-interest loan system worth 23 billion KRW to support partners with interest subsidies; supporting 'Technology Data Deposit Fees' to protect partner technologies; operating welfare improvement programs such as regular employee recruitment support for partners, scholarships for employees’ families, and medical expense support; and systematically managing compliance and ethics in various fields by introducing the company-wide 'Compliance and Ethics Index,' an internal fair trade compliance indicator.
Meanwhile, Hanssem recently announced 'Hanssem-Daum,' a vision and working principle created with direct participation from employees. It emphasizes compliance with social standards such as laws and ethics, aims for flexible and efficient decision-making processes, and focuses on maximizing members’ work capabilities and expertise.
