Drunk Driving Vehicle Crashes Through Fence and Falls... The Fall Site Is the Police Agency Parking Lot
An absurd accident occurred when a vehicle driven by a drunk driver crashed into the parking lot of the National Police Agency.
According to Yonhap News on the 16th, employees of the Ulsan Police Agency heard a very loud noise like "kugugung, kung" around 10:32 p.m. the previous night at the agency building. Alarmed, the employees went to the parking lot behind the building where the noise came from and found an SUV overturned, with part of the fence collapsed.
The driver of the vehicle, Mr. A in his 50s, was driving under the influence when he hit a roadside tree and the fence, then fell about 4 meters into the Ulsan Police Agency parking lot. He managed to get out of the car by himself and is reported to have not been seriously injured.
The employees immediately reported the situation to the control room and called 119. A patrol car soon arrived and conducted a breathalyzer test on Mr. A, which showed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.153%, a level that results in license cancellation.
The police believe that Mr. A, in a state of heavy intoxication, was driving uphill from Hyeoksin-dosi toward Seongan-dong when he broke through the fence of the Ulsan Police Agency building on the right side and fell 4 meters down into the parking lot.
