As of 1 PM on the election day of October 16 for the 10·16 by-elections, the voter turnout for the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education Superintendent election was recorded at 14.9%.
According to the National Election Commission on the same day, out of a total of 8,321,972 registered voters, 1,238,026 had completed voting by 1 PM. This figure includes early voting conducted on the 11th and 12th. The previous early voting rate was 8.98%.

At the same time, the overall voter turnout in the regions holding elections was recorded at 15.90%. The turnout rates for the four basic local government heads (Busan Geumjeong, Incheon Ganghwa, Jeonnam Gokseong, Jeonnam Yeonggwang) were 34.4%, 47.7%, 56.0%, and 60.6%, respectively.
